Keeping in step with the rapidly increasing demand for Primary, Secondary and higher secondary, the Government of Bangladesh passed the Private School Act. Following the Act, Bangladesh witnessed a sudden flux of private schools with the promise to provide primary, secondary & higher secondary education to students that will be at par with global standards. In 17 July, 2010, Rotarian Gias Uddin Chowdhury recognized this exponential increase in demand and established Gias Uddin Chowdhury Modern Academy in order to bring quality education within the reach of student with modest economic means. Sponsored and founded by Md. Gias Uddin Chowdhury Foundation (Govt. Registration No. S-11590). Gias Uddin Chowdhury Modern Academy made its foray in to the field of Primary, Secondary & Technical Education and established itself as a centre for excellence. Currently Gias Uddin Chowdhury Modern Academy is now owned and managed by a group of academics under the illustrious and reputable banner of Md. Gias Uddin Chowdhury Foundation, who intend to not only provide quality education to the deserving students with moderate means but also aim to mold individuals with a specific skill set along with the values of social responsibility. Gias Uddin Chowdhury Modern Academy believes in building a better future for the citizens of Bangladesh by enhancing its socio-economic empowerment. Gias Uddin Chowdhury Modern Academy has been recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh, Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Dhaka and Bangladesh Technical Education Board, Dhaka, Bangladesh. As a great & wise man had once said, “If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him………..
